Making the best decision, on-time, with confidence is not always easy, especially when big dollars are involved. Data generated on-farm, from satellites and a wide range of other available sources, coupled with artificial intelligence, new analytical tools and models, has the potential to cut input costs, save time, increase sustainability and lift profitability. However, there’s a need for data accuracy, useability, upskilled knowledge and field proven tools, which when combined fit seamlessly into the farming systems and build grower confidence. Rapid development in artificial intelligence and on-farm data generation provides opportunity to integrate multiple technology streams. Digital agronomy, precision farming and supply chain traceability are all examples of what’s possible on the farm of the future. What if we could bring it all together, harnessing the power of data and technology to improve business planning, make better decisions faster, improve confidence in decision making, creating new industries in rural areas and increasing grower profit?
